After work , walked to work this morning in my running gear , then after work put it back on & ran 6.5 k my long run of the week . Really enjoyed it & there was hills can't avoid them , but I did good & I'm feeling pleased . Next it's 7k , Happy running

Thanks poppypug , I ran a totally different route from work to make it longer & you know what I loved it , thanks for all your support on here to everybody it's this forum that keeps me going coz there's all ways someone to talk to .

Pretty good thanks. Been back running for just over 3 weeks (in the end was off almost 3 months) and did 28 minutes my last run. Aiming for the half hour this week. Before I got sick and sore I was up to 7k so I am taking my time but want to do 10k by the end of the year
Hey, well done Rockette, that's brilliant. You'll be joining Miles_Yonder as a running commuter one of these days. 6.5 k is very impressive straight after work, especially if there were hills involved
Great news! and your energy and hard work is paying off. You were patient after your injury and still gave us so much support here and now look! you are flying! 7k will be and easy one after your last run - good to be same route and add that little longer at the end. Yep, keep adding them bits on and you'll soon get to ten kms. Running the hills will make you stronger. If you run the same hills next time I bet you'll find it much easier
