Sorry I've been a bit quiet this week - it's been manic at work and I've been on the injury couch with that sore knee and leg... I was feeling a bit down and out yesterday as I hadn't been out for a week.. As my knee was feeling better I went out this morning full of optimism...
For some reason the Garmin decided to reboot itself and the history didn't save, but it was a gentle 3km run this morning in 20 minutes to try out the old leg and knee.... bit of ice on it at the end after stretching and "so far, so good"... wasn't going to go any further this morning...
SO HAPPY to have got out there again and no appreciable loss of fitness...So happy I can't tell you folks - I am truly hooked on this and 7 days of not running was awful!

Good to hear you're back running again Aussie. A week on the injury couch feels like a long time, even with the generous supplies of sweeties to be found there. A nice 3k sounds like the perfect way to get started again. Good luck staying off the couch from now on
Excellent! Nice one, Aussie. Being off through injury can't have been pleasant, especially since you've well and truly got the running bug too, but it's so good to hear you're out and running again. Take it nice and steady and you'll be permanently off that damn injury couch!
