I graduated on Monday and now I'm looking to download another app but I don't understand which I should get - Zombies, Run 5k Training or simply Zombies, Run! I want to now improve my 5k run which is 34 minutes at the moment. Many thanks.

Zombies 5k is a couch to 5k program. Zombies run is the full game and will take you through missions and you have the option to turn on chases which becomes a sort of interval training

I'm so tempted by this! It looks like great fun I've got a bit in a rut since graduation and c25k+ isnt really cutting it - but...
How do all the in-app purchases work? Do you need them?
I'm always wary of buying apps, that then have tons more (expensive!) options to pay for! Can you get pretty far without the add-ons?
And do you use instead of Runkeep/ermapmyrun etc - or as well as?
There is a lot to do without needing in app purchases.
The optional extras are more missions from season 2 and 3 and some race missions. So not required, but you may find you might want to buy them if you want to continue with the story. You can also repeat missions as much as you like.
You can set runkeeper going as well and have that running in the background but personally I just use the zombies run app, it does map you and you get stats plus you can link it to your runkeeper so your runs will sync over if you want a few more stats.
Get the whole thing, not the 5K one.
I started using it on Tuesday and it is brilliant. With chases turned on, it really helps lower you time because it gives you an incentive to speed up that extra but
I use Zombies Run. Don't use the 5k one - it's a lot of walking and stretches - you're way beyond that. The Zombies run game is great. I've run far more using that - and you can run with your own music in between the podcast.
