I have been using the same route for the last two weeks , although it corresponds with a regular route from our local stables and there is plenty of evidence of horses using it, varying degrees of drying out …. why haven't i met or seen any. Driving part of the route i meet one 50% of the time

What is the etiquette for horse vs runner who gives way ?

I come up gainst horses on my trail runs and I give them a real wide berth if possible, taking care not to spook them. I will usually try and let the rider know I am there and they will move over for me. I have only evermet very nice riders. They want to accommodate you as they don't want any problems when they are sitting on top,of a very heavy animal
