Week 8 beaten!!!

Run 3 completed this morning. It was very hard - the hardest run yet I think. It was only by dint of counting each gate and tree, and shouting (in my head) "I WON'T be beaten" over and over again that I made it. Roll on Graduation week (but first a lovely weekend off) :)

Well done for keeping going, your "I won't be beaten" mantra made me smile as on Tuesday while out on my run with my son I was getting slower and slower and he kept repeating "I'm not done yet" over and over with me till we were finished, it really worked.

Have a lovely weekend and then it's on to week 9 not long now and you can have your graduate badge :)

Congratulations! Nothing like determination or just damn right stubbornness to get you through to the end! Got w6r3 at the weekend so will be needing lots of the above from now on! I really do shout at myself (in my head also) while I'm running - though one day I think I sort of did it out loud! Haha! No one was around! ;-) Happy & safe running xx

Well done - enjoy your well-earned rest days.

If W8 didn't beat you, there's no reason why W9 will be able to. Hope you find it slightly less challenging - if in doubt, slow down!!

Brilliant runningphobe. You are so very close now - sit back and enjoy the sunshine while basking in the knowledge you have bested week 8.

Thanks everyone - this forum has been a major part of the programme for me. I might have to change my screen name soon....

Oh I've don't that on many a run, along with "don't give up now, don't give up now". Well done on W8 - the end is so close now - good luck xx

Well done, you finished it and that is what matters. And if you are doing it in hot weather then double well done.
