I understand that it is story based -- but can it be incorporated into a running/training plan of any kind. What are the runs with it -- short, long, fast, slow?? How is it actually used??

Anybody used Zombies Run??

I'm actually using the 5k training version so I get instructions to run walk or in my case run sprint.
You can use it with your own music. I believe with the full game you can set different intensity ie more zombies that make you run faster to get away, but I don't know if you can program any intervals into it. As for how long how fast you run that's up to you. It a story and game so the idea is you get out and run and collect things for the town, the longer/more you run the more things you will collect that you need to survive.

I have actually bought it and have in in my Android phone -- but don't know anything about "full version" , it was the only thing in the Google Play store play.google.com/store/apps/... It was only a few dollars -- but I don't really know why I even got it - haven't even opened it at this time. Right now I am up to my ears in running and haven't got much time at all for even a slight learning slope
That's the full version.
Just checked the website you can do interval training with it. This is the website where you can find out a bit more about the app zombiesrungame.com

I've heard about it but haven't tried it yet but quite fancy doing so once I've graduated.
I love it. You can set it for a half hour run or an hour. It comes with a full 30+ story missions if you buy season 1 (I'm already on season 2) and also races and airdrop missions. It's basically a podcast where you listen to a story and run - you're runner 5 in a zombie apocalypse word and you're sent out to do 'missions'. You 'pick up' supplies on the way. The story's quite interesting and I also like the radio mode it goes into if you carry on running after the mission has finished - like a proper radio station but with your songs on it. Have to say, I get bored running and it's the only thing that makes me go out there and stay out.
PS Meant to say, it doesn't tell you how fast to go, you go at your own speed. You can set it to GPS so you can track your distance. You can use it on a treadmill. If you set it to 'zombie chases' then it will tell you zombies are chasing you and you have to speed up by about 10% or you'll get 'caught'.
