I signed up for a 5k fun run and was like a little child when my official event running shirt arrived this morning covered in sponsors! (You should see the back!)
Also, when I did my 8/2 I felt really good so carried on two more minutes to the 30, and when I got home found on runkeeper that I did it! 5k!!!!!!!!! SO happy!

Good luck for the run I_will and well done on the 30 minutes running! I struggled with those extra 2 minutes right up until w9r3 : ( I am not brave enough to enter a 5k run yet but have been toying with the idea of buying myself a c25k graduate t-shirt on the basis that wearing it with pride might make me run further and faster!
Yes, sounds like a good idea! You deserve a C25K graduate shirt plus it's advertising it to others .... you could change someone's life if they get on to it too. Have fun!
Well, blown me down with a feather, as my late father used to say. I just googled Roc5k and then I noticed the address at the bottom. Our son spends half his life at the Boatshed in Steamer Quay road. As a school pupil he doesn't work there, but he rows there 5 days a week.
If I can now be very cheeky, I'm going to advertise the club's regatta on 21st and 22nd June. 2 days of fantastic rowing and a great day out. FREE entry and most entertaining. Look at the DTARC (Dart Totnes Amateur Rowing Club) website for full details.
Advert over.
Good luck with the run, and what a great setting for it. Truro is lovely.
