Well I did it.. I still felt rough in the morning but dragged myself along. I had to keep telling myself to keep moving. It was warm and dry but cloudy. I was really emotional today so I cried a few times during my run. My breathing was awful. I do think I'm coming down with a cold. Very bunged up! I plodded along struggled up the last hill onto the home straight and kept moving! My time was 38:11. Definitely not my best but pleased I managed to finish. There were a few times I thought I wouldn't make it! So a success! Going out for a walk with the dog today! Around a boating lake that I've never been to... only driven passed with a view from the M4.
Happy Running all!

Well done for keeping going - don't be down about your time, you finished and that's the main thing and something to be very proud of remember your body has good running days and not as good running days, it's not a machine, but as you've proved today, with a cold brewing, it has a bloody good go at being a machine! Be proud of it
I was so happy when I saw the 4K marker. I wanted to burst into tears when I heard every one cheer at the end. There were at least 30 people from the running club! But I held it in and had a coffee with them instead!
Thanks! The walk was lovely. We started at the beginning of the canal and walked to Neath. Didn't realise it would be that far. By the time we got to the car we had done over 6 miles! We did have a hotdog when we got to the half way mark. It was the best tasting hotdog in the world!
