Week 6 Run 1, what a bummer, everyone says its bad but mine was for all the wrong reasons. To start I didnt want to get out of bed, then I didnt know where to run, then I couldnt turn my lovely new garmin on for its 1st outing, had to wake OH up to do it, Laura behaved immediately but turned herself off as soon as I got to the gate, so 8 minutes fiddling with her, eventually Im off, boy that 1 st 5 minute run was hard but was beginning to get into it, until Laura decided I should be on week 3 ( why does she do that, I told her week 6 ) she refused to play anymore so Im left with no prompts and I love my prompts, as I ran today in an allotment across the road I decided to do 4 times up and down once more that takes around 6 minutes, so got in 11 minutes running then went home fed up! Thinking I may try and program something , not sure what yet !! , into the garmin and run to my own music with garmin giving me prompts, can that be done ?

I think I might try that, I have heard it suggested before but kinda forgot so thanks for reminding me. All I want to be able to do is switch on my i pod and run, with the garmin recording, but I badly want to complete C25K

Aw Judes , what a palaver ! I had the same problem with my week 7 Run 1 podcast, it kept stopping and starting then went to Week 5 ! I agree, it is sooo frustrating when all you want to do is get out there and do your run. I took Kittykats advice and now just have the one podcast on my phone and then delete it when Ive done it , then just download the next one only . I use Runtracker , but I sometimes forget to press the start button . Good luck on your next run and hope you get it sorted :-) xxx

Oh Judes, it sounds as the the technology is being a pain. After this week there are no more walking intervals so it's easy to move on to using your own music and just timing the runs. Hope the next time out is better.
