Well done! I've just completed week 4 run 1 and am feeling rather chuffed with myself. I had started C25k on a running machine, and on Sunday had my first run outside doing week 3 run 3, and boy was it sooo hard! So I really was in two minds whether to repeat week 3. But from reading posts on here last night I read that I may as well try week 4. If I really couldn't complete it then I shouldn't beat myself up over it and then go back and repeat week 3. So decision made! But I actually completed it! It was flipping hard, and even shouted at Laura when she told me I was only half way on the first 5 min run. But once I did the first 5 min run, there was no way I was stopping on the second 5 minute! I hadn't got that far to be defeated! Lol

I did smile when Laura says that she's here with you. Couldn't help wonder what exactly she was going to do if I needed her?

Roll on Thursday to do it all again :)

Hello! It was hard for me too and i've been outside all the time ... main thing is YOU DID IT! I've just about stopped grinning post W4R1 yesterday and am now anxiously whiling away the time until W4R2 arrives tomorrow! I wondered if maybe Laura's clock had stopped - i'm sure i'd get all my housework done in 5 minutes at HER rate! :-)

Huugit well done. Don't worry about speed at week 4. In fact, don't worry about speed until way after you've graduated. It's keeping to the program which is the most important - do what you can do and no more. The law is "A slow and steady jog", which basically means a pace that YOU feel ok with, that isn't going to exhaust you in 30 seconds!!

Go get 'em!

Thanks all I will continue at a light jog

Congrats to you. I agree about speed, it's not important at this stage. Once you get to the longer runs it will about having stamina to finish, not how fast you go. Good luck!
