I did it... ! Thanks to everyone who encouraged me on my previous post..! To say I enjoyed it is going a little too far but I didn't not enjoy it if that makes sense..?!?!

The only thing I will say is the first time since starting the programme my calf muscles are killing..! No pain no gain eh...?!? Thank you again xxx

Well done, Mrsb :) I completed W1R1 yesterday and the sections between my calf and heel are aching but other than that I'm feeling good :)

Well done! I am two runs behind you and fully expecting that 20-minute one to be horrible… Hats off to you, and keep at it.

Becca you can do that 20 minute run no problem. You have done all the prep work, you have built up your strength and stamina. Just take is slowly and steady to begin with and build up to your comfortable pace. Well done on getting this far not long now before you graduate.

Thanks, Oldgirl. I'm counting down to Monday morning: by 9a.m. I will have either done it or given up and walked.

Well done. I completed (well sort of, but I'm ticking it off as done) w6r1 yesterday.

Well done Mrsb81. Its doable the program has been proven time and time again. You are 2/3rds way through and a runner, no stopping you now girl :) If your calf muscles are still painful try and get out for a walk, increasing your speed as you go until you have a brisk pace. Do some good stretches after to ease off the muscles, it helps for me every time :)

Not enjoying it but not not enjoying it makes perfect sense. Well done on getting the run out of the way and good luck with your next run. You'll soon be on the longer runs and then graduation is not far off. Best wishes.
