W6 here I come!

Planning to start W6 tomorrow morning and ridiculously excited! Have spent all day thinking perhaps I'd wait until the weekend before running again but, having logged to the forum this evening, I'm feeling inspired and raring to go. Wish me luck, I'm hoping to increase my speed slightly this week.

Hope W6 goes well - just be warned that lots of us found W6R1 surprisingly hard after W5R3, so don't worry about speed, just do the runs at a pace where you know you can keep going.

Thanks for the good wishes Rockette. Everyone seems to reckon slow and steady for w6 is the way to go and who am I to argue with more experienced runners? Slow and steady it is!

Good luck with week 6 but remember to treat it with respect and go slow and steady. Best wishes.

Thank you KittyKat for your good wishes. The consensus of opinion seems to be that w6 is not the time to start pushing the pace, so I'll just shuffle round at my normal leisurely pace and hope the w6 gremlins don't get me. Good luck with w7 x
