I've nothing as such to report but needed to post to ensure I stay on track. I hope you don't feel I'm wasting your time any one who is reading this but posting this will help me to do it. Weeks 1 and 2, I am pleased to say have been uneventful.

You're not wasting anyone's time. You got off the couch a couple of weeks ago, and you're making a huge lifestyle change! You're in the right place for encouragement, so keep posting! And trust Laura, the programme has got thousands before you to the point where they can run for 30 minutes, and so will you, and by then you'll be a runner! Go for it, you can do it!

hello and welcome, it is good to keep in touch even if you don't have much to tell, it just keeps you feeling you are part of a wider group and one day you may be bursting to tell that you have completed the whole nine weeks!!!!!!! Good luck with the rest of your runs.

Hi Stridingedge, I'm currently repeating the programme like you and finished Week 2 yesterday. I've also found things quite manageable despite not having run since September. As I came to realise when doing the programme the first time, so much of this running malarkey is in the head and it certainly helps this time round knowing that I've run further and for longer before. I'll be moving on to Week 3 tomorrow so let me know how you find it if you beat me to it!

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement, I really do appreciate it. And best of luck Hennith

Just back from W3R1. No problems. I took it slow in case I found it too much, but I think I was probably over cautious as there was plenty in the tank at the end. But better that way round...

Absolutely. Well done. I did it OK yesterday although I wouldn't say there was plenty left in the tank! will see how things go tomorrow. Well done again

You are definitely not wasting anyone's time. The mutual support on here was key to my success - so use it!

I agree I could not have made it to Week 6 without this group. Also people don't understand the Euphoria you feel when you have accomplished another week under your belt unless they are doing the programme. Keep posting. I do even if I don't have anything of real interest to say. This is what the group is all about one big happy family. Good Luck.
