Hi all, I've just completed run 3 but struggled in all honesty.. Don't feel ready at all for week 4 ... Would you recommend doing another week 3 run before progressing..?? Also after having 2 rest days I have a very stiff knee... It seemed ok to run on however it's climbing stairs etc that it hurts..!!! Help...!!! X

I would not worry too much about the knee - I felt the same and so did everyone else i asked about that. It will get better the more you get in shape! Also, if you feel like you arent ready for week 4 just do another week 3 run. There is nothing wrong about that. But I also think that you can actually push yourself to be successfully do the runs in week 4. Sometimes you dont even know what your body is capable of! (I just completed my run 3 of week 5 and never thought I could run for 20 mins straight, but it was totally ok). Just listen to your body and keep going!

I repeated 4 runs in each of the earlier weeks because I didn't feel emotionally ready for the next week. Also I really struggled with stiff knees (although fine when I was running) in the latter weeks of c25k. There are some knee stretches on the site that I sometimes do. Don't know if it is just increased fitness or the stretches but my knees aren't too bad now. I'll try and link then but I'm on my phone and not too sure how.
Yes repeat week 3 It took me about 13 weeks to do 5k . I cant do it in 30 minutes takes me 40 but I get there. look after thee knee though perhaps rest it for a couple of days then try again.
