I completed week 3 run 3 today and this last run was really, really tough. I slowed down my pace and concentrated on my breathing but really struggled. I did manage to do complete it though!
Would you repeat this run again before moving onto week 4 or just go with the programme and continue into week 4?
(Just to understand, when I said tough... I only, and I mean only, just managed it!) 😂
What do you helpful people suggest? Thanks

I’m the same I’ve repeated a run in week 3 as I struggled running 3 mins I’m really not sure how il get through week 4 when I had to stop for a sec in 3 mins , I’m sure u will breeze through tho good luck !
Thank you, hope so. Suppose I feel similar to you, only just scraped through the run (by the skin of my teeth!) but I’m gonna take the advice from people on here and progress to week 4.
I agree with everyone else, dont repeat it. Could be many reasons why you struggled, heat, time of the day, what you'd eaten, which wont be an issue for you next time
I have tried C25K once before and I was of a mindset whereby if I struggled with a run I repeated it. By ‘struggle’ I mean that I found it hard not that I couldn’t complete the run. This led me to repeating weeks several times and I did not graduate.
This time around, having joined this forum/community, I have followed the advice that everyone so far has given you - if you completed the run you should move on to the next one. I have followed the advice and am now in Week 8 and I never thought that would happen but I listened and I’ve got to this point by trusting the fact that my body can do far more than I think it can and by understanding that this is a tried and tested program.
You’ve ‘got this’! Press on and you too will be stunned by what you are capable of. 😉
So pleased you are doing so so well. I suppose repeating weeks even if you have managed to do the runs is more about becoming more confident in yourself as opposed to be unsuccessful if unable to complete the following runs! (If that makes sense!)
Sounds as though you are doing brilliantly, thanks again
The point being that YOU are doing well too and you can progress without repeating if you just trust yourself and your body’s ability to get stronger and to surprise you. 😊
