Hurrah! Week one done and now I'm about to tackle week two. Off to get fitted for some proper running shoes tomorrow (yay!) and the amazing compeed blister plasters with hydrocelluloid or whatever it is (magic!?) has put paid to my blister issues. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's run. Wish me luck!!

I'm gearing up for week 2 run 1 tomorrow. I have a tight timeline as I'm meeting friends early, so it up, out to run, then back to shower early. I'm sort of excited about it, but we will see how I feel in the morning :/

Oooo good luck to you both! I've got to take my little girl to ballet first so heading out around 10am - excited but bit wary about the 90 second run bit!!! Let me know how you get on!

Forecast for the weekend is quite good. Best of luck with week 2. Best wishes.

Well done for starting - there is nothing to be afraid of - you only have one thing in front of you - amazement at what you can do - and you can do it. If you follow the advice and sometimes run when you think really you might want to stop - then it all becomes possible. I never ever ran before - did c25k a few months ago - I'm 49 - and now do 4-5k three times a week - and - I never thought I would say this - I look forward to it! It's all there. Be the amazing person you can be - you are on the road! Keep going!

Hello :) I just started my week 2 also! I thought before 9am it would be nice and cool but it was boiling! Found it really tough but I'm sure it'll be much easier by day 3! Where are you getting shoes fitted? My trainers seems ok but not sure if I should really invest in better ones. Hope your run was good!

Thanks HP65! Hey beckybrighton - ended up running this avo at 4 due to the days events changing last minute as they seem to always! It was a good feeling to do it though and while it was tough, it was not as bad as I thought it would be! Didn't get shoes today either as Monday is payday but I'm going to a specialist shop down here in Briz on the recommendation of a running pal. I can't wait for Monday's run now! How was anyone else's?
