I have been out this week, still able to run at a reasonable time, but there is so much stress in my life at the minute it is hard to motivate myself. Too worried about husbands health. Will try and get out on bike today I think, go for a 20 miler, might take my mind off things.

I'm sorry, Hon, it sounds as if you are having a really rough time of it. It's important that you look after yourself if you are supporting your husband. If you can motivate yourself to get out there, you may find it helps relieve your stress levels and gives you a little time to think.

I hope your husband health gets better soon. It's really difficult to motivate yourself at times like that. I had a similar thing last year. I found it was the best thing for both of us was getting out there and trying to destress with exercise. I was always a little calmer when I came back. I also think it helps you to sleep, which is difficult when you have so much going on. I hope pick up soon.

Sorry to hear that you're having a stressful time at the moment but I do think running is the best thing I've ever found for de-stressing. Plodding along seems to just give one time and space to think, or not. Cycling is good exercise just the same so have a good ride today and I hope it helps clear your head and calms you down a bit
