Like in Week 7, Laura says to speed up for the last minute if you can. Is there something like this on the week 8 podcasts? I use my Forerunner to keep time and don't use the podcasts, but I still want to do the extra bits...

Hi Scarlett - yes Laura says you can try & increase your speed after the half way point in the W8 runs (I didn't!!) but she doesn't tell you to run the last minute faster line she does in W7
Oh cool, thank you! I'll certainly give it a go tomorrow. I just went for it for the last minute for W8R1 as I really enjoyed it for the 25 min runs I find it hard to get a middle ground between a pace where I can finish and going so fast that I can't, so it'll hopefully be a learning curve...
I don't have that problem - I find it hard to go faster than 'snail' - ha ha! Although didn't do too bad on R3 yesterday good luck with the rest of your week - enjoy!
I find it hard to go faster than a snail for any extended period of time! Just on a couple of occasions I was feeling really confident and thought I would go faster than I normally would from the beginning, and quite quickly regretted it! Going faster after the halfway point makes much more sense to me, as the first half for me is normally the bit where I feel like I hate running and why the hell am I even doing this I just hope I don't get cocky... good luck with your runs too
