Sigh - back to the drawing board

After a hiatus over xmas that I managed to get over and increase distance to 7k I have probably undone my good work.... I have just come back from holiday and despite taking all my gear across the world and having all the intentions of running - i didn't.

So now I have post holiday blues and feel grumpy that i let myself down and I have all my running stuff sitting on my desk waiting for a lunchtime run and I am dreading how bad it/me will be.

  • Don't give up ReyC

Even if you have set yourself back a little, read through these boards and you will find plenty of people who have had to take a break for a while, but surprise themselves with how quickly it all comes back. We all need a holiday sometimes and holidays are meant for us to relax and recuperate. Just take the first run back slowly to start with and see how you get on. You graduated and then some after all...

  • It won't be as bad as you think, I'm sure
