After a hiatus over xmas that I managed to get over and increase distance to 7k I have probably undone my good work.... I have just come back from holiday and despite taking all my gear across the world and having all the intentions of running - i didn't.
So now I have post holiday blues and feel grumpy that i let myself down and I have all my running stuff sitting on my desk waiting for a lunchtime run and I am dreading how bad it/me will be.

Even if you have set yourself back a little, read through these boards and you will find plenty of people who have had to take a break for a while, but surprise themselves with how quickly it all comes back. We all need a holiday sometimes and holidays are meant for us to relax and recuperate. Just take the first run back slowly to start with and see how you get on.
