Completed the 3rd run of week 4 yesterday without any new aches or pains. It's still a mental battle each time to stop worrying about old injuries returning but I'm looking forward to week 5
It's great to read about everyone's progress, it's really motivational to know so many others are going through this too.

Thanks Oldgirl, that's good advice - although as I'm asking this body of mine to do more exercise than it's done in over 30 years, I think it wants to say stop more than it says go ahead and run again. I'm really enjoying the plan and the great support on here will keep me going too
I'm in the same boat & have just completed wk1 r2 , I agree it's nerve wracking but fingers crossed lightning won't strike twice for us . Good luck Andy
Great to hear you're back Rockette, after your injury you need to take it steady for a few weeks - you know the plan works - good luck with your running!
You will be just fine! As I was told when I was at that stage and nervous.. ' it is just 4 sets of 5 mins' I remember the first 5 minutes of that run seemed like an eternity!! but after that the breathing got easier - you get into a steady rhythm. Don't think about the time, listen to the music., choose a nice place to run to absorb your surroundings and the time will soon fly!! Good luck and you will do it!!
