Just completed W7R1 and I seem to be losing focus. After 5 minutes I feel like I can't go on but then Laura is back telling me I'm on the last 5 minutes. I'm looking for new inspiration...What keeps you moving? Any suggestions?

I tried doing W7R2 with my own music and it made a huge difference to have tunes I knew and could sing-a-long to in my head. The time went quicker. I did that using the app version of the program on my ipod rather than the podcasts.
I took the advice of a poster yesterday and downloaded a running app yesterday that has voice over bits (you have 5 mins left) etc like Laura says but can also use your own music. I think this was more for after the program as I like that audio guidance at the moment.
Not much help I guess but stick with it .... I guess the other thing that keeps me moving is the fact I can see how much my mum-tum has toned up. I'm never going to have a 6-pack but that is motivation enough for me

- I know you still have 2weeks left but maybe think about what you want to do after graduation .parkrun? Charity race? Or ?
- when you are running think of anything APART from how long you still have to go . I make lists ..shopping , housework , places I would like to go holiday , all the ways I feel better since started this prog , or ?
I think it's normal to lose focus at some point but try and work through it and it'll not be long before we all see your shiny graduation badge Keep looking on this forum .reading other peoples posts have always motivated me Good luck
My goal is mid-March when my daughter and I are signed up to run a 5K in Boston for St. Patrick's Day. I think you're right about thinking of anything APART from how long I still have to go. I'll work on that. Thanks for the motivation...p.s. Fitfor60 is also my target since I turn that magic number in May! This is the year of the 5K's!!! Thanks, again.

Yes I try to think of anything else except the running too, like what I need to do later. Fast music helps keep me going as does telling myself every 5 mins how good I am for getting out there.

Because you're now on the unbroken runs you could try some of the radio comedy podcasts. I found these helped sometimes.
