W5R1 - checking in!

Well, despite it being really windy and my feeling exhausted pretty much the whole way through, I completed this yesterday and feel so good for it :-) Am a little concerned at what's to come this week, but confident that if Laura (and so many people on here) have said it's possible, then it must be!! So I'm going to hit Run 2 tomorrow and Run 3 on Friday! Just fingers crossed that the rain, snow, hail holds off!! And the wind - makes life so much more difficult!!

I have just finished this run too in the wind & rain, we must be very hardcore :) Good luck with the next run, I am worried about w5r3 but quite looking forward to giving it a go. Let me know how you get on.

Woohoo, well done! You're a step or two ahead of me so it's encouraging to follow your posts :) I must say I quite like running in the rain myself, but agree that the wind can do one!

Good going out in this vile weather - is a true test of commitment - dig deep for the rest of the week :-)

Nice to follow people's progress when they are at a similar point to you :-) Keep it up!! Yes, the weather certainly isn't much fun, but super dedication for getting off your proverbial and getting stuck in!! Look forward to hearing how you're all getting on :-)

Did Run 2 yesterday! Found the jump from 5 mins to 8 mins quite tough, but managed to keep running for the whole time (albeit VERY slowly!!) Run 3 tomorrow and am starting to panic a little! Hope I can pace myself as it will be such an achievement to hear Laura say 'okay, now slow down to a walk'!!!!
