Not happy

Decided to run tonight after 10 days with bad cold, and my knee has given way! Can hardly walk and the pain shoots up and down my leg. Can't pinpoint where it actually hurts but as soon as I try and walk it just gives way. Soooooo unfair

I am so sorry. Try to ice it, it might help it heal, we can be so run down after a cold. Be kind to yourself and take care.

If its pain running down the outside of the leg from above to below the knee its your IT band and it will need stretching out with exercise a foam roller or tennis ball, Its incredibly painful but the exercise etc works. I wear a support on my knee all the time now as I am constantly getting IT band pain. You need to strengthen the muscles in the thigh (the front ones) to help combat this. Good luck

Thank u, currently icing it and seems easier. Knee just gives way unexpectedly as I walk.. Hope it heals soon
