I completed week 2 run 1 yesterday evening I cannot believe I did it ! On the basis of last nights run I've invented the word jalking by merely blending jogging and walking, as that sums up the speed I managed to reach.

I'd just like to wish everyone on this amazing forum lots of luck and may all runs remain injury free ! :)

Well done Kags! Agree with Fitfor60, don't worry about your speed at all. At this stage it's all about keeping going. It will build you up slowly so let it. You'll find your own pace further down the line. Good luck with Run 2! :-)

Yay!!!

Speed is also about technique and comes with time. My speeds look OK for a newbie but I'm a former runner

Me too, but nothing wrong with slowly plodding away. Plodding gets you to the finish line without stopping.
