Heeding advice on where to run in North Devon - today was glorious - see for yourself and so my latest run was 30mins on Saunton Sands. Great sand for running and the crowds stayed near the car park. I feel like my journey has come full circle, this time 365 days ago I was told my new years resolution was to run a 5k so I have learnt to run, completed my challenge 6 times, am still running and enjoying it and must now start working out what the 2014 New Years Resolution is going to be. And found some many new friends!!!

Hope you get back to the beach soon - suspect it would have been horrible there today as like you we are now surrounded by mud and rivers pouring down the lanes.
Saunton Sands is beautiful. North Devon is lovely. Lucky you to be able to run there (some of the roads are a bit hilly though, so you were probably wise to run on the beach). Congratulations on your achievements this year!
I have been truly spoilt with my festive runs from the far north to almost the deep south and the hospitality of all my friends, next week sadly the street lights of Dumfries will have to suffice.
Do you have a new work project for 2014.
Hope O & T have enjoyed their first Christmas, chased the warpping paper, had some boxing practice with the tree decorations and got some new toys to keep them occupied.
