Fantastic, your doing so well. I went out this morning and did the C25K+ Stepping Stones Phew that kept me going, can't make up my mind if I liked it or not I found I wanted to run quicker or slower but found it really quite hard to stay on beat, was a bit disappointed to finish stopped my Garmin only to see 4.13k I should of just kept running that extra half lap of the park, still never mind I did run my fastest mile according to the stats so am happy with that.

Great time It's funny in life pre c25k 39 secs was nothing but in PB terms its huge so well done
39 seconds improvement is very impressive!

That's great Rockette. I have just acknowleged to myself that there will be no sudden breakthrough where I run like an Olympian. Slow and steady shaving off the seconds is the way to go. I was talked out of doing my Park Run at the weekend and ran around the park with my daughter in law instead. It felt slow but I actually managed my fastest mile and two miles. I didn't quite get to 5K as I had decided to run for 35 minutes but was nearly there. I did realise that I much prefer running my big country loop to running continual circuits of a London park though. By the time I passed that discarded nappy for the fourth time I'd had enough! Back to the fields this morning but as they have just been spreading manure it may not feel dissimilar!

Wow! That is great! How is your knee? My knee is doing better. I ran on the treadmill last week for 20 minutes and last night for 28 minutes. So far that pain I had in my knee has not started up again. I am a little afraid I will hurt it again though.
There is a 5 k race this weekend that I wish I could try.....I'll only be able to get one more run in on the treadmill before then. Can't even think about running outside because it is 10 F and very snowy here!!!! Weather is supposed to be warmer on Saturday!
Good luck at the Parkrun!
My knee is a lot better thanks , glad to hear yours is ok . I still get little niggly knee pain but nothing major , it's my age though I think . Yes I've been thinking about park run for a while now , going to bite the bullet sat morning & just go for it . Keep up the good work , & don't push yourself too hard

That's a really good time Rockette, well done. You'll be breezing it at that Park Run now!

My time today was nowhere near yours. I was quite disappointed as I found it hard work matching strides to the Stepping stone to 10K music but was actually slower than I was when running to my slow 60's ballads!
