After doing run 1 I didn't get the chance to run again before going away last week for a few days to Munich doing the sights and Christmas markets. Unfortunately too much walking played havoc with my planter fasciitis. I had a cortisone injection in my heel two days ago (be prepared for pain!) it seems to have settled down enough to resume week 9 which at the very least I think I should start from the beginning!
Bit nervous that a gap of nearly 2 weeks will have rendered me unable to run for any length of time, surely the health benefits can't be that fickle!
Planning to start again tomorrow, just telling everyone so I have extra incentive to actually do it!

You can do it. Your body will remember all the training you have done beforehand. A gap can actually be beneficial. Just think how great you'll feel when you've done it!
You can do it! My week 9 got split over 2 weeks because I was really busy at the time but I still managed it. Bizarrely it was the first run post graduation I found hard and for the first time had to walk for about 100yds in the middle! Have run again today with a strong mental approach(?!) and probably made my best time yet.
It's because we're relatively new & still amazed that we can actually run, & amazed to the point that we almost don't believe it. I really think you'll be fine. Be prepared to be amazed further.
