I graduated in April/May this year and have kept on running since. Feeling pleased with myself as I finally ran 5k for the first time yesterday! It took me 43 minutes so I won't be winning any races but so pleased I finally did it :-)

That's brilliant. That will be my next goal I think after graduating (though I will spend tm consolidating 30 min runs first).

Remember you are only competing against yourself I'mnorunner . I too am a 40 minute 5K-er. All I aim to do now is shave about 15 seconds off my PB every time I complete. Plato got it right! media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/...

Feels good, doesn't it?! Same for me - graduated in June and only just started to manage the full 5K. Got it down to 40 mins now and planning my first community parkrun in January. keep it up, you're doing great!
