You may have seen my post a few days ago, I was struggling to get back into my running after a few weeks off.
I am so thankful for all the messages of support I received. I received many words of advice and finally I got back on the wagon tonight.
I was going to go back a few weeks and build up but at the last minute (or should I say second when I was stepping out the door) I decided to give week 8 run 1 a go, just to see how I would cope. Yeah it was tough but I am sooooo proud of myself for running the full 28mins. Fingers crossed this is the kick start I need to get back into it and graduate!

You have done so well. I have had lots of problems and my demons getting in the way since I started and just about to start week 3. I can only hope Iwill be able to get back into it as well as you have done. Well done and keep going, you are an inspiration.
I think the most important thing is to try to remember you are doing this for you. The programme isn't easy, harder for some that others, but it does work! I remember your last post and just want to say that I started about 3.5 months ago and although I have gotten less self conscious as I get older (which is definitely a real benefit of being 56) I was still mortified in case I saw anyone, especially anyone I knew. The difference when I was out today is amazing, I truly don't care who sees me. Honestly. The impact on my confidence not just in running but in other areas of my life had been significant. So do your best to get out there and you will reap the benefits.
