Yes it's funny , I find that's how I am on longer runs now , I'm at same stage as you , I did that one Friday ,r 2 tomorrow . Keep up the good work .

Me too I think I just have to accept the heaviness at start , normal plodding rate in middle and try and push myself last few minutes . I am just back in from wk 7r1 and beautiful sunny but icy morning Good luck to you both for rest of wk 7 We can do it Would be great for us all to graduate before Christmas

Please add me to the Party......I am at same stage did WK7 R1 this morning and strangely my legs felt really tired too, I wondered if it was because this is the first time we have had to do two long runs just a couple of days apart.

It's lovely knowing there are others at same stage on this journey . It doesn't matter if I have one or two days between runs my body /legs feel really heavy and sluggish --- I am not even out if breath but just can't seem to get going but after about 10 mins it all seems to click into place and feel more comfortable Think the message is dont give up ---we can do this

Yep, Guys and Gals it's par for the course! Although I am new to this particular course, I am not new to running, I used to run Marathons years ago, did two London's and kept it up untill I turned 50, then it all stopped! What you Guys and Gals are experiencing is perfectly normal at the early stages, it will probably continue for a few weeks, then you get to the stage where it comes and goes for a while. One day you will feel real good and could go on forever, the next time you go out, your legs will want to give up before you start! It takes time but the day will come when you will wonder what all the fuss was about! I am going out today for Wk1 session 2, after a 13yr lay off I am feeling it!! But am looking forward to the day I can go out and run, just because I can!!
