Anyone tried a "free run"?

Didn't do the parkrun yesterday as I was a tad hungover - shame on me! So - today was such a lovely day, thought I try it on my own. It's not quite the same - it's amazing how much difference it makes having other people around you but it is the next best thing - easy to track your progress if you're familiar with the route - and you can record the run as a "free run" on the parkrun website. No PB today but my time wasn't bad. To be fair, our local parkrun is just 10 minutes walk from my house so its an ideal route for me. May not be practical if you have to drive to it.
