Perfect weather

After a rubbish last run just managed 4k in 30 minutes. It is weird as I struggle for the first 20 minutes then pick up. Is it in the mind, I know mentally I do not have long to go so run better?! The weather tonight was the most perfect I have run in since I started. Said it was 14 degrees, no wind, calm and cool

Hi Eve, its not unusual to feel better as the run progresses and if your anything like me it will probably start to happen earlier in the run the fitter you become... don't be surprised if you still get the odd nightmare run too... I have no idea why it happens but for me every now and then it just happens for seemingly no reason..... went out on Saturday and usually run for 40-45 mins - had to stop after 10mins! go figure! - good luck
