Ormeau Park Parkrun this morning, 5k in 30.57. Well pleased with that. That's my graduation run done so it'll be a shiny grey badge for me please!!!

Very happy. Mrs Narmour did well too, completed the 5k all running despite only being on week 6.

Onwards and upwards, 10k training starts here.

Brilliant going Narmour and partner. Looking forward to seeing the shiny badge. Good luck with the 10k training but, like danzargo, I will be following your progress in spirit only. :-)

Well done Narmour. We all know you really did it AGES ago. My lady and I set off together this morning, her on W6R1 and me on an 8k run. However when our 5 min warmup walk was over, she left me standing as I desperately waved my phone at the skies to get a GPS fix, to make sure I hit my target 8k. I did overtake her when she was on a walking interval, but I look forward to us running together in the future.

Congratulations to both of you.

Congratulations Narmour! (And Mrs Narmour!)

Even though you've already done the 30 mins a while ago! ;)

Fantastic ,both of you!

You'll get to 10k in no time - I really believe that first 5k is the hardest bit. Now go get your graduation badge! :-)

Thanks everyone! It really feels good. Although it will feel better when I get my badge! I tried out some warm down stretches afterwards yesterday and I'm happy to say there isn't a trace of stiffness this morning. Feel like I could go out and do it all again today! (Not going to though!)
