W4R1 done!

Yep - got a stitch and had to dig deep at the end but very relieved and happy to have completed it after wondering all day whether I'd be able to find the motivation to go out after work. What a step up from week 3 though! :-)

Well done! I also got a stitch during run 1 but followed Laura's advice and had more water during the day and didnt get one on run 2 & 3

Thanks Clumsy - that's good to know about the water, I will definitely be trying that on Thurs. That breathing tip she gave was really hard to do whilst gasping for air! And well done to you on starting W5 !

Cheers, i have sort of developed a stubborn determination to get through each week. All the posts here help as well, it's encouraging seeing so many have graduated and so many going through what I am and succeeding, gives little fat unfit me hope!

Too right, and it would be such a waste of effort to give up now. Curiosity seems to be quite a motivator for me, I get so curious to see if I can handle each week!

Well done Sarah, good for you! I found the first run hard but tonight's second go at it was (very slightly!) easier. Good for you for having the motivation to get yourself out there after work - it's tough isn't it?!!

Thanks Bristol_plodder, well done to you too! It really is tough after work esp now the nights are darker and colder. Don't think I can face doing it before work though so nights it is.
