Well, I did it, somehow I managed to get through 25 minutes of running! It was a real struggle I must admit, and part of me wanted to stop, but I just couldn't.

My feet and knees were hurting, which I'm putting down to getting used to my new shoes, but it seems it's time to move on another week. I hope this running for 25 minute lark gets easier!

well done MinxyMiss, it does get easier, but I think the big part is the psychological battle. You will get to feel easier on parts of it, I found after the first 10 to 15 minutes it got easier, particularly when my running steps synchronised with the music on the podcast, although that didn't happen all the time. :)

I'm not sure the wanting to stop bit ever goes away, still hasn't for me :-)

The running 25 minutes may get easier- but then it's 30 :)

Well done for not stopping! These longer runs are different aren't they - hope your legs sort themselves out with the new shoes soon. I am finding wearing my LIDL compressions socks after my run is helping a bit. For a while ... Until I have to go to work!
