Been away for just over a week and couldn't even get into this site for 2 days!! Have had to reinstate terrible Google Chrome which slows machines down badly which is why I removed it months ago. Not sure if I'll keep it on this laptop which will mean I will lose this site again. What has everyone else done to get access? I have Windows 7 but Internet Explorer is not Version 10, have tried installing it and it fails to complete every time!! Getting really frustrated, what with this problem and no running for two weeks due to grandson with us on holiday its taken all my get up and go to keep up with him, didn't think 10 year old's had so much energy! Shropshire was 30C every day, a bit too hot for us from far NE Scotland to run in too.
What on earth has happened to my favorite site!?! - Couch to 5K

Hi I am having trouble with the site but hubby thinks it is more to do with the site upgrade than he browser your are using. We are using Google Chrome and it worked well with the site before the C25k upgrade. We will just have to keep trying just like my running. Pat
You can download ie 10 for Windows 7, just get in from the Microsoft site to be sure. I've not tried this site with Firefox, kind of drifted to chrome these days, but it could be worth a go.
I use Firefox on the computer and safari on the iPad, the problems I've had are the general having to sign in all the time and everything being a bit slow at times which are site related rather than browser related.
Sorry, forgot to say we're on windows 7 on the pc.
And I didn't have to sign in this time round. Things are getting back to normal.
Have Windows 7 on this laptop too but not version 10 Internet Explorer its version 9. Have never used Firefox and don't want to start if its at all possible. I hate it when sites do this, not sure how anyone with a really old system will cope, don't think they will get logged on at all!!
The only improvement I have noticed so far is that there is a spell check, for me a big bonus!!
Hi Oldgirl. Just wanted to say a) welcome back and b) me & Mrs OldNed both use Firefox & think it's way better than IE. Free, funky & easy to use.
Works fine for me with IE 10 and latest Google Chrome also on android (mobile phone).
What doesn't "work" for me is the timeout if you don't use the site for a while and the requirement to log back in...
Perhaps the new website is only at week 1 of the program as in work for 60 seconds and then stop working for 90...
Let's hope it skips weeks 1-8 and goes straight to working continually.
If all else fails, you could try support.healthunlocked.com/...
Hi there Oldgirl. I think the site is still having teething problems. Just hang on in there. Hopefully, they will get there eventually. Delia xox
I use firefox for most browsing cos I don't really like IE. The site views fine in firefox and its free so I would give it a go or use Chrome/Safari like others have suggested.
While I'm commenting, does anyone know how to view the map like on the old site to see who was close by?
It seems that the majority of people on here were happy with the old site and layout which begs the question who thought it would be a good idea to change and where was the demand coming from for this?
Anyhoo, back to it
cheers
I've got firefox too - I can't remember why I changed over though, but it seems fine. You have missed a lot of aggro by not coming on for a week or so! It does seem to be settling down a bit at last. I think the reason for the so-called 'upgrade' was because of the number of users? - it did often go very very slowly at busy times. But I miss the popular posts list, the sensible tags (I see yours are 'frustrated' and 'running' - very helpful!), and the maps. So far, I'm not exactly overwhelmed!
