Back to earth with a bump

After a really enjoyable and fun run on week6 run1 I have really struggled this morning on run 2. I didn’t manage the first 10 minute run as I had to walk before the end. I did however manage the last 10 minute run after I slowed it right down. It was just SO disappointing to feel so heavy legged and lethargic. My question is should I keep going with the 25 minute run on Friday? I did manage last weeks 20 minute run ok. 🏃‍♀️

Slow and steady 🙂 We all have runs like that. I barely made 1 1/2 miles last night. Usually the 3.1/5k is manageable. Just take it nice and slow, adjust your pace to your breathing - we tend to do the opposite - and keep it fun on at least some level. You have come this far so no worries -you are doing fine 🙂

Wishing you many happy miles in your future ☺

Thanks Irish-John. Will keep in slow and steady on Friday. Just disappointing to have a bad run after such a good one on Monday. Hopefully Friday will be a good one. 🏃‍♀️

Progress, not perfection ja - it's the nature of the game, machines always deliver but we are humans and prone to chaos (well - me anyway, usually a LOT of chaos in my life LOL :) )

I think it depends how much of the first ten minutes you did.
