On the occasions I over run asession I still go back to where I should be on the plan for the next one.
And I don't know how you get a graduate badge.
Good luck
Thanks for the 'parkrun' link - I might have a go at that but I'm woefully slow!
- I have 3 weeks to go but I don't really want to go backwards - I'd just like to push on and improve my stamina and speed - go faster / longer if I can! But if you think it's a good idea...
I would use the last weeks to try and reach the 5K distance that way you will know you have done the whole programme. You will need to use an App like MapMyRun or GoodRunGuide to pre map a 5K route and then time yourself. Hope that helps and well done on managing those times in just 6 weeks.
Hi,
Thanks for the advice - it is helpful!
I will measure a route to see if I've done the 5K distance - I hope I have in running for 34 minutes but I'm not sure - I am pretty slow.
- I will keep running and see how far I can go - I might even go on a park run locally this week and see if I can do it! - All those people with fast times though - scary!
Thanks for the compliment! - I did find it hard psychologically to just get started running - the 8 x 1 minutes in week 1 was hard but I've been pushing myself since then - I find the last run of the 'mixed' weeks always a little easier!
