I've reached the end of my last training week - now the challenge is to keep running!

I was so excited about today's run, the final one - W9R3! This morning, just after 6:30am, I reached the loch and for the first time I run around it. And as I did, I could hear the different birds making plenty of noise. I don't know whether they were expecting me to produce a bag of food for their breakfast or not, but instead I decided that they were cheering me up!

At the end of the 30 mins, I had covered 4,6 Km. So, there is plenty of room for improvement. The good thing is that I don't end up exhausted, and I still can have the 5 min brisk walk without having to drag my feet.

I'm very happy that I chose to stick with the program, even when external circumstances made it very hard to keep going. And now I'm taking the challenge to keep running 30 mins three times a week. I hope I'll be able to reach 5 km soon enough.

So, if I can do it, you can too!

W9R3 isn't the end...it's the beginning!

You've accomplished a LOT in the past 9 weeks...and now you are a full fledged runner!

Make running part of your life. Enjoy it. Set goals, small or large, and work to achieve them. You're well on your way now.

Good luck, and good running to you....

Well done what a lovely post! I also run in countryside and it just totally invigorates my spirit (even if my body is beggared by the end lol!).

I didnt get to 5k till a few weeks after graduating but running 30 mins is a huge achievement you should be proud!
