I ran a beautiful 6k woodland route this morning, which is still full of bluebells and wildflowers galore. I only met one person walking their dog. He was walking up a small hill and was really red and out of breath. It made me thankful that I can run.

Then, before lunch I've enjoyed one and a half hours gardening, and this afternoon I'll be having a swim with a friend and then coffee and a chat, of course!

What have you been up to this bank holiday?

As for the quote, on another blog I explained that the reason I have managed this, 100 days in a row without a rest day, is not anything extraordinary. It's just being determined, determined to succeed. I then saw this quote this morning and it caught my imagination.

I've changed my profile pic! It was taken whilst away in Sydney, half way through the 5x100 challenge. I had just climbed up 450+ steps during a fantastic walk and felt great! What a view there was. A great memory from the challenge.

Only one day to go folks! I can't quite believe that I'm nearly there :)

Wow TJ your finishing this challenge on a big roll my girl, well done.

This morning I had a low impact aerobics class at the gym. Just as well that was all I had, my badminton adventures on Saturday have left my body knowing it has been through some strenuous workout of a sort, who would have thought it was such an all over body/muscles exercise. (see my blog on community blogs) Huh and I thought I was fit ;)

I've got 4 classes tomorrow though with just about 15 minutes between 2 of them, then 2 back2back. Yikes hope the muscles have stopped screaming by then. ;)

Well, badminton seems to be a big hit for you and I think it will do wonders for those upper arms! I've taken up tennis again, and love it, but like you, my muscles can ache quite a bit the next day!

Go Theresa! You're getting stronger and stronger throughout the challenge! Do you have anything special planned for the last day?

I planned a run, and took myself on a 6.5k run through the village and out the other side this morning, in the rain!

Whoop de Doop. Love the new photo. 450 steps - so where's the sweat? :)

I took you along on a long walk through Edinburgh today. I still didn't feel up to running but what was meant to be a 20 minute walk back to the station turned into an hour and a half - I missed my train .... I reckon that must have been about 6 miles. Add the walk from the station to the meeting and we clocked up about 12K.

I hope you enjoyed the guided tour - we went through Princes street gardens and past Waverley Station. Turned up the North Bridge and went to the National Museum of Scotland in Chamber Street. We stopped there for a cup of tea. Then down through the Grassmarket and back to Princes street via the Mound. I think you got a bit annoyed at me for criss-crossing the same route more than once though :)

So here's to your final day TJ. I know you'll be doing it with a huge grin on your face.

Thank you, thank you Malcy, for all your running and for supporting me so much. Your input with the Malcy meter, was a fantastic tool which helped me through the middle 50 days of the challenge, and made it all seem so much more fun!!

I do have a huge grin on my face, now that day 100 is done :D
