Just gone and done it this morning, started at 0930. I jogged it in 32 mins, best time so far for my 5k. Very pleased with myself.

Last year it was in 34 mins in Hyde Park London.

Back home for some well deserved bacon sandwiches

More than 13000 competitors took part.

By the way our team was the tickledpink trotters. I was the oldest and only runner!

Well done Burstcouch, good time too. The atmosphere must have been amazing, nice weather too I believe. You earned your bacon sandwiches this morning for sure.

Oh well done. :) My goodness, that's a very big Race for Life! :O Did it take ages to get moving at the start?

Yes greenlegs it took a while, and some walkers decided to go with the runners/joogers which made it a bit difficult to run. I was running up grass verges and pavements instead of the road

I started about 1/2 hour after the official start time.

the papers today said it was 14000 and its the biggest number so far taking part in the UK at race for Life.

Not what you're looking for?
