I've been grounded for the past 3 weeks due to a prolonged chest infection, doc says to stay off running for 2 more weeks , I'm being positive & planning for my next run, the question is which week do I start back at, I'm doing race for life in 23 June & would love to run it all, my last run was w5r3 which I failed to complete.
Which run do I do next?: I've been grounded for... - Couch to 5K

My opinion only, but if I were you I'd probably start W5 over.
Hope you get better soon. There is a nasty chest infection going round. By best friend is really suffering with it.
Take care of yourself X

Once your fit again perhaps you should try one run of week 4 just to get back into it. If that goes OK try 5/1 and then move onto 5/3, but you just have to listen to your body only you can tell if you feel OK. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

I'd do like Pam said, may be a bit much going to w5r3 after few weeks off. Get well soon
Oh, I'm doing Race for life on the 23rd in Cardiff. Good luck.

Maybe go back a bit, by one week, to give yourself a chance to catch up.
Could you maybe have a go at doing some leg exercises at home without tiring yourself out too much. Lots of strengthening exercises online for runners - then your legs might be fighting fit by the time you've recovered.
