W5 R2 done ..... OMG 20 minutes next time

Just done W5 R2, decided to do it on the treadmill at the gym as the weather is freakin' cold. I dropped my pace a tiny bit to make sure I didn't overdo it, and surprised myself. It took some serious concentration and brow mopping, but once I got warmed up my legs just seemed to keep going. It is such a long time since I ran (properly) and I am starting to get excited as I can now really imagine being able to complete a 5km without stopping.

Saturday I will run 20 minutes non-stop through the Maize fields and see how the seedlings are coming along. I can't wait to see how I get on. :D

I am sure you will have an a-maize-ing run (sorry could not resist) you will do fine, the 20 minutes will go by and when you have done it, you will feel soooooooo good. :-)

Hahahaha thanks, I will try to remember that pun when I am trotting through the fields. Will keep me smiling.

AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH - 20 mins! ......... it's really not that bad, especially if you have already realised your legs can do it - and by the sounds of it you are well on your way.

good luck & Happy Running.
