Well that was a bit silly...

...what can I say I've been bitten by the running bug! After my nausea inducing attack yesterday I casually mentioned to the doctor today that I went for a run. She looked at me like I was a bit crazy(they don't understand us runners)! It turns out I have a throat virus and she's prescribed me antibiotics. That will be a 'no' then, for a re do of wk5/r3 tomorrow? :(

Oh well, on the upside I've lost some weight. But you know I'm still thinking of going tomorrow...

Sorry to hear that you've got another bug - apart from the running one, that is ;)

See how you feel tomorrow. The prob' with antibiotics is they sometimes make you feel worse - especially in the tummy - before all the nasties have been eliminated! But, who knows, they might also mean you lose another ounce or two LOL. Take care, W5R3 will be there waiting for you even if you need an additional days rest.

Thanks Linda, you are making perfect sense. I didn't know that about antibiotics, so I should really slow down! Yes the run will be waiting and as it's a biggie I think I will wait. It's hard enough when you're 100 %

Ditto Linda. Not a good idea to run while on antibiotics. Roads will still be there when you're better and the program is such that you won't have lost any stamina. Get well soon, Delia :-)

Now, listen to the nice doctor and do as you are told :-)

Seriously though, take time to recover and as said, the run will still be there and you will better for it.

Enjoy the moment :-)
