10K race is getting close now, so the training is getting more serious.
I've been reliably informed that it's best not to have actually run the whole distance before the day, which sounds a bit odd, but I'm happy to go along with it. I've run 9K twice now, and I'll have 3 more chances to do it again, before I get sent away with work for the last few days before the race.
Judging by previous progress, if I can run 9K a few more times, I'll be confident enough of managing the 10 on the day.
I never ever thought I'd be in this position, and boy, does it feel good!!

Well done for running 9k, I have the 10k race for life in July and Great South run in October all thanks to the C2 5k which I started last September, running is just something I'd never done before but now I actually enjoy it.
I agree - I loathed it. To be honest, I still have to work on persuading my brain that I'll enjoy it, and as soon as I've got my running kit on, I do start to,
Well done on your progress, and good luck for your races!!
