Does anyone know how to reduce the mucus that your body seems to build up over night I take carbocisteine 4 times daily two tablets still I get severe coughing in the morning which causes me to panic duff1953

Pre-transplant I used N-Acetyl Cysteine. 1000mg 2x daily. It served me well for about three years.

I don't think you can reduce it.

I'm 80 with COPD, carbosistien is the best weapon I have in my arsenal! Been taking it for years it really breaks up the phlegm so that it's easy to cough up. Xx
