My doc told me on Monday that I have gone from moderate to severe, and said the word empysemia,(can say it not spell it) and changed my medication, so I hope to learn lots from reading all your posts and answers to the questions I havent even thought of yet. Also to learn how to, live - v - exsist with my / our condition, keep breathing Zlarty

zlarty hi my name is essiet and I also have copd and Iam in stage 4 also. I take my meds and I also take vitamins and I do everything I can to avoid any sick people. I stay home a lot and I don't get much exercise because of my breathing issues but I still try. When you go to your dr ask if you can take vitamins as they do help me. I also use a nebulizer for breathing treatments and that helps me a lot also. Inhalers help me but not like the nebulizer does. I know that people in England have a different kind of insurance so I really don't know anything about that. I have seen nebulizer on the internet brand new for $30.00 which I don't know how to make that into your currency. I hope I have helped you but try to keep your chin up and keep smiling. I hope you feel better.
Do not let your breathing stop you from getting exercise.Go to UTUBE click on copd exercise there are so many. They even have sitting down exercises that is where I started from.Keep us inform how you made out.God bless and breathe easy.
