Any idea what's going on here? I have an appointment, but obviously having anxiety, and need some feedback. This isn't the first time. Last time I thought maybe it was the strawberries I ate! I have a fissure and lots of pain sitting afterwards. Is this something else though?

Hi cfuh,

Thanks for posting with us. Hard to tell from the pic but stating you have a fissure with pain could be a contributor. Doubt it's the strawberries, but I did have a brief issue after adding some beet powder to a smoothie, but that quickly went away. It could be a lot of different things as well. Glad to hear you have an appointment as anytime there is blood in the stool it needs to have a good answer.

I do wish you the best in finding out what's going on. Please let us know as it is that kind of information that can be helpful to others on this site.

Thank you,

Tom
