Hi! I am Sultan sekh, I am suffering from fistula for last 2 years, I did my fistula & piles surgery 1 year back but my fistula returned. Before 6 months I undergone a colonoscopy resulted NORMAL but from last 1 month I can see red blood dots mixed with my stool and stomach cramps & abdominal discomfort, later before 10 days I did CBC test but it too was normal but still I am worried about my health as I am scared about colorectal cancer,
Kindly suggest what to do.

Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. I hate to see you're having to deal with these issues. So you had surgery a year ago for your fistula and piles and the fistula returned. This is something to get checked out by your doctor. From what I know about a fistula, it can cause blood to transfer to the stool. You did have a normal CBC which is great. You also had piles which could be contributing to the blood in the stool situation as well.
The fact that you had a recent colonoscopy performed would lead me to believe that it's more than likely not colon cancer. It looks like you had this colonoscopy six months ago? Again, you need to get this checked out by your doctor. Colon cancers are very slow growing and catching them early is key.
I would assume you're going to have to have another surgery to correct the fistula that returned. Your doctor may suggest another colonoscopy just to be sure of what's going on.
We do wish you all the best in finding answers. Consult with your doctor about what you have going on so you can get on the path to be well soon. You did have a recent colonoscopy and that is very good information. Another thing to think about is if there is a family history of medical issues. This would be good information for your doctor to have.
Please let us know what you find out. This is interesting and that type of information can be helpful to others on this site as well.
Thank you,
