Hi I am 33 male

I had mucus and blood in stool, and my doctor sent me for colonoscopy.

So I had colonoscopy yesterday and they found and removed 2 small polyps and 1 larger polyps.

Now waiting for the biopsy result, may takes few days to a week for the result.

I am very worried about this! I am so scared!

HelloIt is good that you went for it and did the colonoscopy.. well i guess if there was anything suspicious your doctor would’ve told you. My doctor was almost sure it was cancer in my case just by the appearance of the polyp but waited for confirmation so don’t worry usually they can predict.

For how long you had the bleeding?

Hi NeedHealth,

Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected.

I congratulate you for taking action and getting the colonoscopy done. You should be very positive that they found some polyps and removed them. You are way ahead of the game. You did exactly what everyone should do given your situation and symptoms.

Now you're waiting on the biopsy results. They will normally remove enough margin to allow for getting everything that may turn out to be malignant. I would stay positive and know you are way ahead of the game of early prevention and detection.

And please keep us informed. We'd love to hear the results and wish you the very best of results. You are way ahead of the game.

👍🤟

Hello sorry for my late updates!

It was fine, no dysplasia on one of the polyp, and the other two are low grade dysplasia.

No stromal invasion is detected.

My doctor suggest me to have another check in two years.
